On March 3, the Hainan delegation to the National People's Congress (NPC) and several Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee members from Hainan province arrived in Beijing.
This year is the last year for the current delegates to perform their duties. All of them continue to be full of enthusiasm, remarking that they will perform their duties earnestly. They added that they will actively offer advice and suggestions focusing on free trade port construction with Chinese characteristics, high-quality economic development, ecological civilization construction, as well as the comprehensive promotion of rural revitalization.
The fifth session of the 13th NPC is scheduled to open on March 5, a day after the opening of the fifth session of the 13th National Committee of the CPPCC.
