According to the Hainan Provincial Health Commission, Haikou reported three new local COVID-19 confirmed cases and six new local asymptomatic infections on July 12.
From July 9 to 12, four local confirmed cases and 21 local asymptomatic infections have been reported in Haikou, Hainan province.
Haikou started a new round of regional nucleic acid testing for people within the four streets of the main urban area at 8:00 am on July 13. From 6:00 am on July 13, temporary traffic control was imposed on the main urban area. The control range extends to Binjiang Road in the east, Guoxing Avenue in the north, Longkun South Road in the west, and Haikou Ring Expressway in the south.
