Hainan reports 6 COVID-19 infections on July 13

The Hainan Provincial Health Commission announced that three newly COVID-19 confirmed cases were reported in Haikou on July 13, while three new cases of asymptomatic infections were reported, including two cases in Haikou and one case in Ding'an county.

From July 9 to 13, Hainan reported 17 local confirmed COVID-19 cases and 24 local asymptomatic infections.

From 5:00 am on July 14, five new high-risk areas in Haikou have implemented COVID-19 prevential and control measures like staying indoors and providing door-to-door services. As of July 14, there were 11 high-risk areas and five medium risk areas in the city.

Haidian Island in Haikou's Meilan district continued to implement static management on July 14, with vehicles and people only able to enter the area, but unable to leave, while residents in the area were asked to not leave their homes unless absolutely necessary.

Haikou's Longhua district has issued a notice that a new round of regional nucleic acid testing will be carried out in six streets in its main urban area and Chengxi town from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm on July 14.
