Highlights of the 2017 World Fly-in Expo

The 2017 World Fly-in Expo (WFE) will be held at the Hannan General Aviation Airport in Wuhan, China's Hubei province, from Nov 4 to 7.

The expo aims to build an exhibition and resource exchange platform that integrates aero sports, sports competitions, technical exchanges, aviatic culture popularization, aviation science education and interactive flight activities.

The four-day expo includes seven flying shows, five competitions and six interactive activities, as well as music festivals, static displays and summit forums, an aviation event with an abundance of activities which will also be of the largest scale in China.

The static display contains both outdoor and indoor exhibitions. The outdoor exhibition covers an area of 60,000 square meters, displaying more than 200 types of aircrafts, and the indoor exhibition area covers 20,000 square meters, providing booths for more than 100 aircrafts and equipment manufacturers and related institutions.

The outdoor exhibition includes two zones, one in front of the tower and the other on the side of the general aviation avenue. It will showcase the most advanced and classic aircrafts from both home and abroad, including fixed-wing aircrafts, military aircrafts, business airplanes, and helicopters.

The indoor exhibition sets eight zones for aeronautical equipment and outdoor sports equipment, aero sports experience and aviation science, aviation culture and products, aviation industry, flight camp and general aviation industry, paper plane displaying and skill teaching, comprehensive exhibition and RV camp.

Ticket sales are already underway. The lowest priced ticket is 240 yuan ($34.87). The expo provides single-day through tickets, which can be bought online, and with which the audiences will be able to enjoy activities including flight competitions and performances, music festivals, indoor and outdoor exhibitions and enjoy the feast in the food court.  (https://piao.damai.cn/131416.html)

Paper ticket and e-ticket are 300 yuan and e-ticket 280 yuan per person, respectively, and the VIP paper ticket is 800 yuan. Children under 1.2 meters can gain free access with an accompanying adult (one adult can only take one child).
