Aviad shows skills at 2017 WFE

By Jiang Xingguang and Li Chenxi | Updated: 2017-11-05

The Aviad, a US air performing team, left a strong impression on visitors at the 2017 World Fly-in Expo in Wuhan, China's Hubei province, on Nov 4.

Founded in 1952, the team has grown from a small family-owned company into one of the world's oldest and best-known aerial media brands.

It has broadened its market operations from the US to Europe, Africa and China in Asia.

The brand has pioneered every major improvement in airborne advertising: huge banner sizes, super lightweight substrates, digital printing, multi-national service and carbon reduction, according to its official website.

Led by Wayne Mansfield, the team has accumulated over 17,000 hours of flying experience and has won numerous awards, such as the FAA Good Friend of the Year Award and the FAA Wright Brothers Master Pilot award from the US Federal Aviation Administration.

With operations in 16 countries, Aviad presents leading presentations of aerial media to include aerial banners, skywriting and aerial spectaculars.

To ensure "neighbor-friendly" operations and to enhance safety, it has created the industry leading Aerial Media Code of Conduct, defining industry standards, good operational policies, and best practices for aerial media operations.
