WHDZ introduces air rescue services

Updated: 2018-02-07

Two Kingwing General Aviation Co helicopters landed on Hannan General Aviation Airport in Wuhan Economic and Ecological Development Zone (WHDZ) on Feb 3 and 4, marking the availability of air rescue services in Wuhan and surrounding areas.

Air rescue plays an irreplaceable role in responding to medical emergencies, especially in difficult terrains such as mountainous and water areas.

Based on Hannan General Aviation Airport, the helicopters will be used to effectively help more patients with life-threatening injuries, providing services including pre-hospital rescues and medical transfer.

More helicopter landing points will be built in surrounding areas of Wuhan.
