The total output value of auto parts companies in Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) reached 50 billion yuan ($7.9 billion) in 2017, according to recent news.
In 2017, the total output value of automobiles and auto parts industries in the zone reached 251 billion yuan.
As a main contributor to Wuhan’s economic development, WHDZ is supported by its automobile and auto parts industries, and is building a world-renowned “capital of automobiles”.
It is expected that in the next five years, the total output value of the auto parts industry in WHDZ will reach 100 billion yuan.
