A delegation from Caidian district in Wuhan, capital of central China’s Hubei province, visited Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) on Feb 8, to deepen ties between the two sides.
Hu Yabo, the zone’s Party secretary, said that WHDZ couldn’t have made great achievements without Caidian district’s recent years of support, and at the same time the development of WHDZ has driven the development of Caidian district.
Both sides hope that they will seek more cooperation in areas such as industry integration and regional economic integration, added Hu.
Peng Qiaodi, director of Caidian district, said that the two zones are deepening ties in economic growth, and communication between the two sides will likely be strengthened for better cooperation.
Besides cooperating in economy, cooperation in areas including protection of lakes and management of boundary lands is also on schedule.
