A group of experts from US companies and the General Aviation Industry Research Center of Beihang University were invited to visit Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WHDZ), Hubei province, on March 9, to offer advice on the planning and construction of Hannan General Airport.
The experts visited the general aviation industrial park in the zone to learn about its planned layout, and basic facts of the general aviation industry in the zone.
Additionally, they visited the core areas of the airport, to learn about its construction.
At the meeting, experts provided professional and detailed guidance on the construction of the airport, including fire control safety, layout of functional buildings, and directional signs.
The experts from the US said that they would like to provide help with construction of the airport, and also seek cooperation in the general aviation sector.
