The activity aimed to raise people's awareness of environmental protection, and convey the concept of green development.

More than 500 teachers, students and staff members from eight schools and companies in WHDZ participated in the activity, including Zhuankou Primary School, Yucai Primary School, and Wuhan Business University.

Under guidance of the staff members in the park, volunteers loosened the soil, watered trees, and applied fertilizers.

Each tree had a two-dimensional code, and volunteers could scan the code to register personal information online and “adopt” the tree.

During the activity, the park also conducted a survey, and listened to the suggestions of the residents regarding its work.
