A delegation from South-Central University for Nationalities (SCUN) visited Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) in Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei province, on Oct 11, to discuss potential areas of cooperation.

Hu Yabo, secretary of WHDZ's work committee, held a meeting with the group led by Bian Jing, secretary of the university's Party committee.

Hu introduced the development of WHDZ to the delegation, especially in technological innovation and intelligent manufacturing, saying that the zone is currently attracting well-known companies and highly-skilled professionals from all over the world.

Outstanding graduates from the university are welcome to work in the zone, as well as take part in cooperative projects between the two sides, added Hu.

Bian indicated that the university would deepen cooperation with the zone based on the principles of mutual benefits and joint development.

The two sides also discussed preparations to host an alumni homecoming event, and additional potential areas of cooperation.
