China Youth Tourism Service seeks partnership with WHDZ

A delegation from China Youth Tourism Service (CYTS) visited Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) in Wuhan, central China's Hubei province, on Oct 18, to discuss potential areas of cooperation.

The group was led by Kang Guoming, president of CYTS. Hu Yabo, secretary of WHDZ’s work committee, held a meeting with the delegation.

CYTS is an A-share listed company with a focus on tourism, which is also engaged in exhibitions and marketing, the development of scenic spots, construction, and hotel operations.

The company plays a leading role in the organization, operation and services for national-level events and competitions.

CYTS is looking forward to cooperating with WHDZ, to provide professional event services for the World Military Games and World Fly-in Expo, which will both be held in the zone during 2019.

In addition, CYTS intends to explore scenic areas of the zone with the intention of developing new tourism projects.

Hu said that WHDZ has organized major events and sports competitions to raise its regional influence, and will host the FIBA Basketball World Cup Wuhan competitions, and the opening and closing ceremonies, as well as several competitions of the World Military Games next year.

The zone has broad market prospects in cultural and sports tourism, added Hu, saying that he expected to partner with CYTS in the development of tourism projects.

Kang Guoming noted that the company will provide professional consulting and reception services for relevant events to be held in WHDZ.
