A delegation of 45 government officials visited Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, on Dec 10.

They visited the second plant of Dongfeng Honda Automobile, Dinglong Holdings, and Midea Wuhan plant based in the zone, to learn about the companies’ technological innovation and independent research capabilities in their development, as well as WHDZ's measures to promote industrial transformation and upgrading.

The officials also participated in a Party meeting at the Quanlinan Community.

At the meeting, officials spoke highly of WHDZ's achievements in economic growth and its efforts to upgrade and transform its industries, saying that they will look to the zone as an example when promoting growth in their own areas.
