Jiulong Zhai

Updated: 2019-06-26

Jiulong (nine-dragon) Zhai, located on the Yangtze River at the foot of Dajun Mountain, is named after the nine mountains resting along the river.

Jiulong Zhai has been a hotly contested spot and has a long military history because of its strategic position in transportation. Especially in the three kingdoms period, Wei and Wu fought vicious battles over it. The story of ZhuGe liang and his stationing of troops has been passed down through the ages.

It covers an area of more than 1,000 square meters, including an orange orchard, a tea plantation, a mulberry orchard, a peach orchard and a crape myrtle garden. Tourists here can enjoy a farm stay and harvest what they want. Jiulong Zhai also features recreations such as fishing, Mahjong and chess. Tourists will be satisfied whether they come for a get-away or study.

To meet the needs of the growing number of tourists, Jiulong Zhai has added 100 parking spaces and is able to receive 300 tourists simultaneously.

Route of self-driving tour: turn to Jiangcheng Avenue from the third ring urban road of Wuhan, taking the Jun Mountain exit.
