A national quality supervision and inspection center for new energy vehicles was recently established in the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province.

It is the first state-level vehicle inspection center in Wuhan and is expected to provide key technological support for the development of new energy vehicles in Wuhan and Central China.

The center is currently capable of carrying out more than 1,400 types of tests related to new energy and oil-powered vehicles, vehicle parts, saving energy, emissions, and crashing tests.

The center will also offer solutions and formulate standards for the domestic new energy vehicle industry, according to authorities.
