A variety of celebrations were held ahead of the Mid-Autumn Festival in the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone, including dancing, singing, tai chi performances, riddle-solving competitions, and moon cake-making workshops.

Local volunteers also sent gifts to people in need and provided free services such as haircuts and medical consultations to the elderly.

The Mid-Autumn Festival, which falls on the 15th day of the eighth month of the lunar Chinese calendar, is one of the most significant traditional Chinese festivals. Common traditions include family reunions, admiring the full moon, and eating moon cakes.
