The station boasts an average annual production capacity of 88,000 kilowatt-hours and can charge eight electric vehicles at the same time. It is expected to help reduce CO2 emissions by 87,736 kilograms and save 2,886 kg of coal annually.

The installation of a charging station near the Wuhan Sports Center, the main venue for the 7th Military World Games taking place in the Hubei province capital city on Oct 18-27, was also completed and put into services recently.

There are currently 32 chargers at the station, which can charge 384 electric vehicles a day.

According to an employee of the State Grid, the station also provides extra services, including intelligent parking, intelligent car washing and a free 5G network.
