How to get to WHDZ by high-speed rail

According to zone officials, there is no direct high-speed rail to WHDZ yet. Visitors can instead take the high-speed train to Wuhan Railway Station or Hankou Railway Station first -- and then take the metro, bus or taxi to the zone.

High-speed trains mainly stop at Wuhan Railway Station, with a small number of stops at Hankou Railway Station.

Visitors arriving at Wuhan Railway Station can take the metro line 4 to Zhongjiacun Station and transfer to the metro line 6 to Dongfeng Company Station, and then take the buses 205 or 597 to the zone.

Officials said it takes 1 hour and 45 minutes and costs 10 yuan ($1.42). The taxi takes about I hour and 10 minutes and costs 135 yuan.

Visitors arriving at Hankou Railway Station can take the metro line 2 to Fan Lake Station and transfer to the metro line 3 to Tunyang Boulevard Station, and then take the buses 288 or 651 to the zone. It takes about I hour and 7 minutes and costs 8 yuan. The taxi takes about 35 minutes and costs 50 yuan.

Located in the middle of China, Wuhan's high-speed railway is very convenient and accessible in all directions.

There are dozens of high-speed trains that come and go from Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou to Wuhan every day.

The high-speed trains from Beijing to Wuhan usually take about 4.5 hours to 6 hours and cost around 520 yuan. From Shanghai they take between 4 and 5.5 hours and cost around 320 yuan, while those from Guangzhou take between 3.5 hours to 5 hours and cost around 463.5 yuan.
