From January to September, Wuhan Jiangsheng Auto Terminal Co moved a total of 735,700 vehicles through its ro-ro – or roll on, roll off – terminals, an increase of 12.8 percent year-on-year, according to the local media.

Company staff said the operational volume was among the top three in Chinese ro-ro terminals -- including seaports -- and ranking it first in terms of growth.

Established in August 1950, Wuhan Jiangsheng Auto Terminal Co is a joint venture company supported by Wuhan Port Group Co, SAIC Anji Logistics Co and Dongfeng Checheng Logistics.

The company operates the terminal loading, unloading, warehousing and transshipment management of automobiles, construction machinery and accessories, through two large ro-ro terminals -- Dunkou and Jinkou.
