The Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) is making strides in paving the way forward for businesses located there to resume work and production, according to the official WeChat account of WHDZ.

Wuhan Anbofu Electric System Co is a support manufacturer for air cleaning and treating anti-epidemic negative pressure ambulances, or NPAs, which is based in the zone. It coordinated with about 200 employees to start work and resume production of NPAs, to help with coronavirus prevention and control, WHDZ officials said.

In order to ensure employees' safety and smooth the way forward for resuming resumption, zone staff members conducted on-site temperature measurements and inspections for 113 returning employees during their lunch breaks.

A company spokesman said that more than 80 employees will soon return to Wuhan and start to work. The returnees will be asked to stay at home for further observation for two weeks.

The zone staff members will keep track of the health status of the employees daily by phone, text messages and door-to-door visits. They will also solve practical difficulties, such as purchasing and distribution of materials in a timely manner.
