The builder of the cabin hospital is Wuhan Chedu Co, a WHDZ-based infrastructure developer.

After receiving its construction orders on Feb 16, staff from Wuhan Chedu Co went to the area to investigate the site of the temporary hospital.

The project site selection, the first item on the construction plan, as well as procurement of basic materials, took only half a day when construction work on the pop-up hospital began.

In the end, construction of the prefabricated hospital took a mere three days, officials said.

The cabin hospital adopts integrated sewage treatment equipment. Indoor and outdoor greenery has been established, providing a more comfortable and beautiful environment for medical staff and patients.

The new facility has a construction area is 5,700 square meters, with 1,000 beds. It will receive novel coronavirus pneumonia patients with mild symptoms.
