Updated: 2020-03-16

Families in need living in seven sub-districts in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (also known as WHDZ) received a total of 5,891 servings of fresh fish weighing 15,000 kilograms, according to the official WeChat account of the WHDZ.

At 8 pm on March 10, a supply distribution team received the order to deliver high-quality fresh fish to the underprivileged in the WHDZ sub-districts.

Team members contacted the Dongjing sub-district promptly and finished working out a distribution plan at 11 pm.

At 6 am on the following day, fishermen at Dongjing sub-district began to get busy, picking up grass carp from ponds and loading them into an aerobic fish tanker after weighing them.

At 11 am, the fresh fish began to be delivered in Zhuanyang sub-district and were then distributed to community residents after being packed on site.
