WHDZ quarantine, treatment station reports zero infections

The quarantine and treatment station located in the Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) has reported no infections of the novel coronavirus pneumonia since it launched operations on Feb 15, according to the official WeChat account of the WHDZ.

On Feb 15, an isolation and medical observation area was established in the Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park, marking the 17th of its kind in the WHDZ. It has 460 rooms and received 23 patients with fever on the day.

On Feb 22, the area was transformed into a quarantine and treatment station and received 27 discharged patients for further medical observation.

On March 5, the number of its residents reached a peak of 476. 

On March 7, the first seven discharged patients were released from quarantine and went back home.

On March 10, the 100th patient was released from quarantine. The total number of patients released from quarantine reached 122.

On March 15, the total number of patients released from quarantine reached 312. A total of 164 discharged patients are still under medical observation at the quarantine and treatment station.
