Central China's Hubei province, which was hit hard by COVID-19, commended more than 1,000 people and over 500 groups and organizations on Sept 21, in recognition of their contribution to the battle against the virus.
At a meeting held in Wuhan, the provincial capital, 1,164 individuals, 436 groups, 160 CPC members, and 130 primary-level Party organizations were commended for their efforts.
Among them, 22 individuals, 12 groups, five CPC members, and four primary-level Party organizations are from Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone.
Earlier this month, China held a meeting in Beijing to commend role models in the anti-epidemic battle.
