Jangho Group is to develop a design industry city in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, with an investment of 8 billion yuan ($124 million), according to local media reports.

As part of the project, the Wuhan International Design and Culture Center is planned for construction in Hannan Metro Town, with an investment of 6.6 billion yuan.

Jangho Group is a national high-tech enterprise, one of the top 500 Chinese listed companies and among the top 500 Chinese private enterprises.

The company's business covers more than 20 countries and regions around the world. It ranks among the world's leading companies in professional fields such as building curtain walls, interior decoration, and medical health.

The industry city project will introduce resources such as Steve Leung Design Group as well as architectural design, decorative design, and industrial design, and integrate industrial production with environmentally-friendly development.

It is expected to attract more than 300 small and medium-sized innovative design companies to settle in, and employ about 2,000 design and research personnel.
