An industrial park focusing on the headquarters economy is set to be developed in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, with construction work currently underway.
The park will focus on five core industries including big data and the headquarters economy, and will bring together six major building types, including first-class office buildings, single-family garden-style office buildings, commercial streets, scientific and technological innovation bases, apartments, and high-end supported residential buildings.
It will become the first smart park with full 5G coverage in Central China.
In addition to the headquarters of the China Urban Rural Holding Group, a group of national or regional corporate headquarters and leading companies will also settle in the industrial park.
After 30 years of development, the comprehensive strength of WHDZ ranks first among national development zones in the central and western parts of the country.
It has brought together well-known domestic companies such as Dongfeng Motor Corporation, Dongfeng Co, Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co, and Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile Co, and has introduced 73 Fortune 500 companies.
