Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, has been making great efforts to ensure locals live as normally as possible since Zhuankou sub-district has adopted closed-off management, according to local media reports.
WHDZ reported seven COVID-19 cases on Aug 2. The seven patients have all been sent to designated hospitals for further diagnosis and treatment.
The development zone strictly follows the relevant COVID-19 prevention and control measures, quarantines communities and personnel, and disinfects and sterilizes contaminated areas.
Zhuankou sub-district has been coordinating all kinds of materials to ensure it maintains business as usual for its residents.
Major supermarkets on the sub-district are open for business and the daily supplies of fruits, vegetables, meat, rice noodles, grains and oils are being provided in a timely manner.
For the closed-off communities, supermarkets such as Wushang Supermarket Zhuankou Store have launched group purchasing packages to provide point-to-point contactless deliveries.
