A technological transfer and match-up conference was held on Oct 29 at Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ), where seven technologies from universities such as Huazhong Agricultural University, Hubei University of Technology, and the Wuhan Institute of Technology, involving tobacco, automobile and health care, were successfully transferred.

Agreements signed at the conference were worth over 5 million yuan ($750,000).

Hubei Meritar Supply Chain Co, a digital supply chain management and smart logistics service provider, established partnerships with Hubei University of Technology. The two sides promised to collaborate on key technology research on industrial robots.

The conference also offered a platform for high-tech enterprises, research institutions, and incubators to carry out roadshows.

The zone has been working to bolster the innovative capacity of enterprises, stepping up efforts to foster top sci-tech companies, and deepening university-enterprise cooperation. To date, nine technology transfer and match-up activities have been held and agreements for 55 projects have been signed in 2021.
