The finals of the Ninth China Graduate Energy Equipment Innovation Design Competition concluded on Dec 11. A total of 418 graduate teams have progressed to the finals. After the fierce competition, three projects received the innovation star award, 39 projects won the first prize, 103 projects won the second prize, and 268 projects won the third prize.
The Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) was one of the organizers of the contest.
Four energy equipment innovation projects from graduate teams competing in the competition have signed deals with the WEDZ for further development. The competing teams are from Wuhan University of Science and Technology, Hunan University of Science and Technology, and Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology.
