The 10th Xuanyuan Award Ceremony was held in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ), Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, on Dec 16.

Two automobile production models manufactured in the zone won the award – VOYAH Dreamer was selected among the 10 Best Cars, while Nissan ARIYA produced in the Wuhan workshop of Dongfeng Nissan was nominated.

The award was founded in 2013 by Auto Business Review, an authoritative automobile media outlet in China, along with EFS Consulting based in Austria. This was the second time the award ceremony was held in WEDZ.

Jia Ke, chief editor of Auto Business Review, described the zone as an auto hub in Central China, and envisioned a promising future for the zone, which is currently seeking to strengthen its new energy and intelligent connected vehicle industrial chain and build an automobile industrial corridor worth 1 trillion yuan ($143.4 billion) that includes not only Wuhan, but also Xiaogan, Suizhou, Xiangyang and Shiyan (all located in Hubei).

The zone is willing to cooperate with entrepreneurs in promoting the integration of technologies and industries, sharing new development opportunities, and building a complete and advanced automotive ecosystem.
