Huali Ismartways Technology Inc – located in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) – is one of the earliest companies in China to be devoted to the development of the Intelligent Vehicle Infrastructure Cooperative Systems (IVICS) technologies. The company proudly boasts as the leader in its field with a mature industrial chain ecosystem.

China has pledged to intensify its efforts towards the advancement of smart transportation and logistics, while also facilitating the seamless integration of big data, the internet, artificial intelligence, and blockchain technologies with the transportation industry.

Qiu Zhijun, founder and CEO of the company, showed up in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on April 14, announcing jointly with the Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute the founding of the smart transport internet of vehicle technology alliance.

So far, the company has received multiple IVICS orders from international clients of nearly 50 cities around the world.

In August 2017, Qiu came back to Wuhan from Canada to start his new business in WEDZ with only a dozen workers. His company recorded over 50 percent of sales growth over the past five years, and the revenue of the first half of this year alone has reached the level of the last year. Its staff members also increased to more than 100.

The company has consistently invested at least 20 percent of its sales revenue into research and development for four consecutive years. As a result, nearly 50 of its patents have been approved.

Last year, it was selected as one of the provincial strategic innovation and entrepreneurship teams in Hubei.
