On Sept 22, the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) officially launched the 2023 Autumn Campus Recruitment Series. The first campus job fair was held at Wuhan University of Technology (WUT).
More than 3,600 people attended the fair, with nearly 1,300 expressing interest in working in the zone.
A total of 40 key enterprises were invited to participate, offering over 1,700 high-quality positions in various fields such as automotive engineering, computer science, automation, software engineering, intelligent manufacturing, and mechanical design. The highest annual salary among these positions was 400,000 yuan ($55,720).
"There were many companies present today. I am a mechanical engineering student, and many positions were very suitable for me," said a master's student surnamed Li at WUT.
Next, WEDZ will travel to Beijing, Xi'an, Lanzhou, Harbin, and other cities to carry out a series of autumn campus recruitment activities, organizing multiple online and on-site recruitment fairs.
