One month ago, the technical team of Wuhan Huanyu Zhixing Sci-tech Co successfully completed testing on their latest smart parking system's functionality and performance stability. The smart parking system is now entering the final delivery stage and will officially go into mass production next year.

Cao Jing, co-founder and CEO of Huanyu Zhixing, stated that intelligence is the key to new energy vehicle (NEV) developing competition. A smart driving system with excellent functionality and cost-effectiveness is an ultimate goal to tackle. Huanyu Zhixing aims to become a pioneer in the large-scale commercialization of autonomous driving solutions.

Located in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) and considered a potential unicorn company, Huanyu Zhixing has been dedicated to the research and promotion of autonomous driving systems and smart driving products for the past nine years. Its core products include autonomous driving domain control units (DCUs), autonomous driving software, and intelligent parking systems, making it an important supplier in the field of smart driving functionality.

The autonomous driving DCU is the core computing center of intelligent driving with huge development potential in the automotive market. It can integrate and process data from automotive sensors and form decision-making logic for vehicle operation, hence its status as the "brain" of autonomous driving solutions.

"At the beginning, we started from scratch. My team made drive-by-wire vehicles by modifying cars. We learned about assembly at 4S stores," recalled Cao.

Autonomous driving is a talent-intensive and capital-intensive high-tech field. So far, Huanyu Zhixing has received over 100 million yuan ($13.93 million) in four rounds of financing. It has established R&D centers in Wuhan and Germany and set up operational teams in Suzhou and Hangzhou. The company has grown from dozens of people in the very beginning to over 110 employees today. It has cooperated with FAW, Dongfeng, and Xiaomi, and has secured bulk orders from well-known domestic automakers such as Great Wall Motor, VOYAH, and Chery.
