On Jan 12, the Department of Emergency Management of Hubei Province, Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ), and CITIC Offshore Helicopter Company (COHC) signed a strategic cooperation agreement to assist in the construction of the Central China Regional Emergency Rescue Center and the aviation emergency rescue system.
On Jan 10, the Shanshan outlet project was established in the zone, contributing to the construction of a modern industrial system.
In the first week of the New Year, the main leaders of WEDZ led an investment promotion team to areas in the Yangtze River Delta and Northeast China.
The zone is implementing an action plan to enhance the strategy for new energy and intelligent connected vehicles, placing equal importance on its auto spare part sector. Efforts are being made to attract and cultivate core auto component enterprises to enhance the resilience of the automotive supply chain.

From Jan 10 to 12, Tang Chao, director of WEDZ's management committee, led an investment promotion team to Changchun and Dalian, visiting China FAW Group Co as well as local economic and technological development zones and colleges.
