China's first Haier Smart Building City Showroom was unveiled in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone, or WEDZ, on June 29.

The showroom displays Haier's smart building technologies, where employees can use facial recognition to enter rooms and automatic systems manage power based on occupancy.

Founded in 1984, Haier Group is the world's only internet of things or IoT ecosystem brand. Its smart building products offer comprehensive green and low-carbon solutions.

Haier has established over 10 industries in Wuhan, including industrial parks, smart buildings and smart homes.

The showroom features an industrial model with colorful pipes and mechanical equipment, integrating Haier's latest air-floating high efficiency room technology and smart low-carbon solutions. The control room's operations – such as multi-energy complementary and intelligent building controls – are clearly shown.

Haier's more than 20-year presence in the WEDZ is said to have led to significant growth. Establishing the smart showroom in Wuhan is believed to highlight the city's potential for smart building applications and market opportunities.

The showroom showcases the efficiency and intelligence of future buildings, aiding local project developments and providing effective paths for industry energy savings and emissions reductions.

During the event, the Haier Smart Building Hubei Center and Wuhan Huaxinglong New Energy Technology Co signed a strategic agreement. Under it, they will explore new energy-saving technologies in the smart buildings field and promote the widespread adoption of green building solutions.
