After intense competition, the Quantum Computing and Precision Measurement Industrialization project from Wuhan won the first prize; the Intelligent Connected Industrial Mobile Robot project from Wuhan and the Semiconductor High-Purity Gas Purification Technology and Equipment Innovation project from Huangshi won second prizes; and the Domestic Survey-Grade LiDAR Development and Industrialization project and the Micro LED Chip Mass Inspection Domestic Solution project from Wuhan won third prizes.

The second-prize-winning Intelligent Connected Mobile Robot project was submitted by Fairyland Technology (Wuhan) Co, founded in WEDZ in 2020. The official added that in recent years, WEDZ has rolled out a series of policies, including those regarding talent, sci-tech innovation, and industry. The zone also grants over 3 billion yuan ($412.89 million) annually to support industrial and talent innovation, promoting the integration of industrial, innovation, financial, talent, and policy chains to build a city where dreams of innovation and entrepreneurship can come true.
