Tuhu Automotive Service to establish headquarters in WEDZ

Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Tuhu Automotive Service on July 16.

According to the agreement, Tuhu will establish its Central China headquarters in the WEDZ's Intelligent Connected and Electric Vehicle Industrial Park, which will include the construction of an authorized auto parts sales center, a supply chain warehouse and distribution center, and collaboration with local enterprises to enhance, supplement, and strengthen the new energy vehicle industrial chain.

Liu Ziqing, Party secretary of the working committee of WEDZ, stated that the establishment of Tuhu's Central China headquarters in WEDZ will greatly help to expand the automotive industry, promote the high-quality development of the automotive aftermarket, and accelerate the construction of a new automotive industrial ecosystem in WEDZ.

Liu expressed hope that both sides will continue deepening and expanding cooperation in order to achieve more practical results.

Chen Min, founder of Tuhu, highlighted that WEDZ has a strong industrial foundation, significant geographical advantages, and promising development prospects, making it an ideal place for investment and business. Tuhu will push forward the implementation of the Central China headquarters project, contributing to the transformation and upgrading of WEDZ's automotive industry.

Tang Chao, director of the working committee of WEDZ, expressed hope that Tuhu will focus on innovation in automotive aftermarket services and the NEV industry, attracting more high-quality resources and projects to WEDZ.

Chen and his team also toured WEDZ, including a trip to the exhibition hall of the Wuhan National New Energy and Intelligent Connected Vehicle Demonstration Zone.

Founded in 2011, Tuhu is a leading online-to-offline integrated automotive service platform in China. With over 70 logistics hubs and urban operation centers, Tuhu boasts over 110 million registered users and more than 10 million monthly active users. As of April 2024, it had established over 6,000 service centers, covering all provinces in China.
