The swimming venue at the Auto Valley Public Fitness Center in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) opened to the public on July 17.
The facility offered free access on the opening day, allowing over 300 residents to enjoy a refreshing swim on the hot summer day.
The state-of-the-art swimming facility features a 10-lane swimming pool and an eight-lane children's pool, capable of accommodating over 300 people simultaneously. Both pools are equipped with a constant temperature system, ensuring a comfortable swimming environment, while a 24-hour water circulation system ensures the water remains crystal-clear.
The fitness center also includes a variety of other facilities, such as badminton courts, basketball courts, table tennis courts, and a gym, as well as an underground parking lot with 486 parking spaces.
The center aims to create a multifaceted sports platform that serves as a hub for community leisure, public fitness, youth sports services, and lifestyle amenities, according to authorities.
With this new addition, WEDZ is now home to 29 swimming venues, further solidifying its commitment to promoting health and fitness within the community.
