Suzhou SuShi Testing Group Co announced plans to construct its Central China headquarters in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) on Nov 15 during a new product and technology promotion conference held in the zone.
The headquarters, which will begin construction next year, will cover an area of over 30,000 square meters, with approximately 25,000 square meters dedicated to new testing service facilities. It will serve as a central hub, providing testing for environmental reliability, electromagnetic compatibility, safety, performance, and material analysis, as well as integrated circuit failure analysis to shipbuilding, aerospace, automotive, and semiconductor industries throughout Central China.
Huang Xiaoguang, general manager of SuShi, said WEDZ's strengths in the semiconductor and automotive industries and its broad market for inspection and testing applications make it an ideal location.
Huang added that Wuhan's strategic position as a transportation hub offers significant time and cost efficiency for product distribution and after-sales technical services.
During the conference, SuShi also unveiled several new technologies and products. These included a high-performance power amplifier to address micro-voltage sensitive environment testing challenges, a comprehensive solution for engine blade testing under high temperature and high-frequency coupling, and a six-degree-of-freedom simulation platform capable of multi-angle yaw motion.
Founded in 1956, SuShi specializes in researching, developing, and producing environmental testing equipment. It provides comprehensive environmental and reliability testing, verification, and analysis services for products ranging from chips and components to end-use devices.
SuShi operates 25 laboratories domestically and internationally and serves various sectors, including integrated circuits, aerospace, automotive, and electronics.
WEDZ has attracted several renowned Chinese and international inspection and testing institutions, including Daan Gene, CVC, SGS, China Quality Certification Center, and SuShi Testing, gradually forming a significant industrial cluster.
