High-value invention patents are a key indicator of technological innovation. Over the past three years, the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) has seen a steady rise in such patents, with an impressive average annual growth rate of 78 percent.
WEDZ established Wuhan's first high-value patent incubation base in April 2023 to accelerate patent cultivation. This initiative fosters collaboration between tech enterprises, research institutions, and universities, driving the creation of cutting-edge, highly competitive patents.
