A price standard on projects for installation of piping and equipment in the dairy industry of the Inner Mongolia autonomous region was unveiled on Dec 25.

The standard, the first of its kind in the dairy industry, was formulated by the housing and urban-rural development authority in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region and Hohhot-based dairy enterprise Yili Group.

According to the government, the standard will help improve inspection on the construction cost of dairy processing projects in the region and increase the investment returns of these projects so as to support the quality development of the regional dairy industry.

Zhang Xin, an official from the housing and urban-rural development authority, said that the implementation of the standard will set a fine example for national dairy industry standards.
