Sino-Ireland big data forum held in Hohhot

The Fourth Sino-Ireland Big Data Forum on Statistical Analysis and Artificial Intelligence was held in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia autonomous region on April 3.
More than 100 experts and scholars from the government, universities and corporations attended the forum to exchange ideas.
Attendees delivered reports on big data theory and applications in fields of the Internet, medicine and police service. They also held seminars to discuss how education reform and practice, AI and edge computing technology will be analyzed and applied with big data in the 5G era.
Lan Hui, director of the Inner Mongolia data science and big data society, said that the forum would exert great influence on the development of the big data industry in Inner Mongolia as well as on cooperation between Chinese and Irish universities.
The forum was sponsored by Inner Mongolia University of Finance and Economics and Ireland's University College Cork.
