Hohhot launches citywide reading program

A reading program was launched in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia autonomous region on April 22 as part of the national campaign “reading for all”.
The program was established to celebrate World Book and Copyright Day, which falls on April 23 every year, and to increase interest in reading throughout the city.
The program's organization committee invited eight people to serve as ambassadors and promote the reading program across the city.
The Hohhot Library unveiled a list of its collections and is dedicated to bringing books to villages and towns throughout the city.
According to the local government, the program will also consist of activities such as recitations and sharing sessions to help people develop reading skills.
