Hohhot's Xincheng district launches ecotourism routes
Day 2:
Wuwanmu Forest Park
Wuwanmu Forest Park covers an area of 50,000 mu or 3,333 hectares. Through greening and afforestation and landscaping, a forest park with green trees and winding paths has been established.
It has been mainly planted with trees such as fruit trees, spruce and sylvestris and has a six-kilometer sightseeing road.
Halaqin Ecological Park
Halaqin Ecological Park is located in the middle section of Daqing Mountain front slope comprehensive ecological control project, with a total area of more than 12,000 mu.
Naobao village
Naobao village is a key national village that is ideal for rural tourism. It was founded in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) and has a history of more than 300 years.
The overall planning of the cultural tourism zone of Naobao village has a theme of Jiangnan garden scenery. The Chinese-style classical courtyard and the European-style classical buildings are located around the lake and mountains and complement each other.
The special catering and cultural area offers local snacks and puts on folk performances.
