Hohhot issues 160m yuan for renovation of old residential areas

The finance bureau of Hohhot has issued a total of 160 million yuan ($23.41 million) for the improvement and renovation of old residential areas in Hohhot, the capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
According to the city's housing and urban-rural development bureau, Hohhot plans to renovate 62 older residential areas during the 2019 to 2020 period in Xincheng, Huimin, Yuquan, and Saihan districts, Tumd Left Banner and Qingshuihe county.
The planned renovations includes roof, road and infrastructure repairs, and upgrades to water supplies, drainage, gas supplies, heating pipe networks, waterproofing, street lights, and monitoring.
