N China's Hohhot promotes garbage sorting
A staff member of the Shui'an community in Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, teaches a resident about garbage classification on Oct 28. So far, the domestic waste classification pilot in Hohhot has covered 234 communities, 1,064 public institutions, and 180 schools in the city. A total of 11,000 classified garbage bins have been put into use. Also, 12 companies have been engaged to participate in the classification of domestic garbage, and 178 vehicles dedicated to the classification of domestic garbage have been purchased.
