Pan Gang, president of the Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group Co (Yili Group), met with a delegation led by Zang Guoping, president of China Development Bank (CDB) Inner Mongolia Branch, on March 14, with the aim of strengthening cooperation.
CDB is one of Yili Group's most important cooperative banks. Over the years, it has paid great attention to the development of enterprises, and actively provided financial support to help them rapidly develop.
During the investigation at Yili's headquarters, Pan Gang gave a comprehensive introduction to the company's business development, R&D innovation, and the implementation of international strategies.
Zang Guoping said he appreciated Yili Group's achievements, adding that Yili Group ranks among the top five companies in the global dairy industry and ranks first in the Asian dairy industry.
Yili Group has built a global resource system and a global innovation system in Asia, Europe, America, and Oceania by deepening its global integration strategy. The core network of the global market system fully demonstrates the strength and responsibility of China's leading dairy companies.
He said that in the future, CDB will provide diversified financial services to support the high-quality development of Yili Group.
Since the launch of the Yili Modern Smart Health Valley project in 2019, CDB has continued to closely follow the progress of the project.
During his visit, Zang Guoping inspected the health valley project construction site. In a discussion held with Yili officials, he also learned more about project financing needs, saying that CDB will support project construction with strong financial services.
Since the launch of the health valley project in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, Yili has actively employed high-quality resources to create a world-class livable and industrial city complex, and promoted the overall upgrade of industry-city integration.
The construction of the project is helping Hohhot to form a new regional economic growth driver. After completion, it will create a GDP of more than 100 billion yuan ($15.27 billion), a cumulative fiscal revenue of 90 billion yuan, and provide employment for more than 500,000 people.
