China Railway Hohhot Group Co is to launch tourist trains to the cities of Langzhong and Chengdu in Southwest China's Sichuan province, ahead of the upcoming peak tourist season, according to Inner Mongolia Daily.

Starting from April 10, national railways will implement a new train timetable, and adjust the operation times and stopover stations of multiple trains passing through the central and western parts of Inner Mongolia.

In terms of freight transportation, Hohhot will add additional China-Europe trains departing from Shilong, Jiangcun, and Changsha, which will go abroad via Ereenhot in the autonomous region.
