Apricot blossom festival opens in North China's Hohhot city

The 10th Wusutu Apricot Blossom Festival opens on April 16 in the Huimin district of Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region. The five-day event includes artistic performances, light shows and cycling activities. In recent years – relying on its rich natural, historical and cultural resources – the district has focused on building a new "culture + tourism" business model in order to stimulate the local economy.
