The Inner Mongolia Clean Energy Industry Association was officially launched in Hohhot, capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Oct 20, marking the first industrial association to focus on clean energy in the autonomous region.

The association, jointly initiated by more than 70 enterprises in 12 leagues and cities in Inner Mongolia, will aid in the construction of ecological civilization as well as promote the digital economy to better serve the clean energy industry.

It covers more than 20 industries including real estate, construction, finance, transportation, energy, environmental protection, medical care, and education.

At present, there are more than 20,000 clean energy companies in the autonomous region.
